I'll place all the sadness,
along with memories made
upon the bottom.
In goes,
the lonliness, and pain,
you left me here
to deal with.
Along will go,
a broken heart
that once loved you.
Next layer, will be
my sleepless nights,
as I lie awake
missing you.
As my tears,
silently fall
I lay your picture,
upon the top.
Silently, I close the lid,
as each tear
of the tape,
seals our love
forever,
within the box.
